About

We’re a small group of people who’ve been digital nomads for over a decade and want to help the community find RELIABLE information on cafes to work from

You’re here for the word “reliable”, aren’t you?

You cannot stand to go through it again. Get to a new city, look up “laptop friendly cafes to work or study from” and be sent by some highly punchable travel blogger to a coffee shop that is noisy as hell, has no plugs in sight, and lets you be on your laptop for a couple of hours. If you’re lucky. Not to mention the coffee is crap.

As a group of people who’ve been digital nomads for over a decade, we’ve been in that situation too many times – the stress, the disappointment, the sheer anger at the bloggers and guide writers. We know how that feels. Also, we happen to like good coffee.

So we decided to do something about it. The reviews you’ll find here are:

  • Up-to-date. No more pitching up to coffeeshops that no longer even allow for laptop use, if they are not downright closed down
  • Useful. No more fluffy bullshit like “when I was in Rome in 2003 I loved hanging out at Cafe X!”. In come facts about noise levels, plug availability, WiFi speed. You know, stuff that matters.
  • Coffee-lover friendly. If you like good, specialty coffee that hasn’t been roasted to death, we’ll tell you where to find it.

You’re welcome.
