As with most cities in Italy, cafes and co-working spots in Rome have been slow to react to the growing number of remote workers seeking a place to work for the morning. In addition to there being only a handful of options, most places will impose a “no laptops” restriction during lunch hours, and places are usually too busy for work at weekends, especially during the brunch period which is popular with tourists.
