This is a good example of why this website exists. You’ll read on most other websites that you can work at Barnum. Well, you can’t. They explicitly ask for no smart working on their menu.

Barnum serves a good range of coffee drinks with beans from Aliena roasters – all in all, one of the better places to find good coffee in Rome, even if you aren’t allowed to work on your laptop.

Barnum is a small cafe that specialises in brunch, especially at the weekend. There is one larger communal table and most tables are comfortable enough to work at. However, they have specifically asked that people do not come to Barnum for smart working, so it is very likely you will be asked to put your laptop away.
