Laptop Hours

Laptops are permitted for up to 1 hour at Le Levain

While there is no explicit time limit for those on laptops, Le Lavain in Porta Pia prefers it if people didn’t spend a lot of time doing so. For that reason we’ve indicated a limit of up to one hour.

We’ve visited both during the week and at the weekends, and can say that during the week it is sometimes possible to work, but at the weekends it’s pretty much impossible because it gets very busy.

Coffee Standard

Le Levain in Porta Pia serve specialty coffee from Picapau roasters based in Rome, which is to say that the coffee is excellent. Dare we say even better than Faro just up the road? Maybe, maybe not – it depends on your preferences.

Working Conditions

Working at Le Lavin in Porta Pia isn’t really a viable option. If you’re lucky, you might catch a quiet period and have the rare chance to enjoy great coffee and get some work done. Unfortunately it’s likely to be busier than you expect, and the staff, understandably, a little less accommodating to remote workers than we’d like.
