Caffè Pergamino serve specialty coffee, something readers will know we’re thrilled about because it’s difficult to find in Italy, especially in Rome. That said we had a good flat white – a high degree of salinity, which was interesting, especially if not deliberate – though the microfoam could’ve been a little more, well, micro.

Working at Caffè Pergamino is a bit challenging. For starters, they only have outside, roadside seating on a moderately busy sidewalk, which means no power outlets, and traffic noise. In addition, we couldn’t connect to the WiFi though they do have it in theory.
